Painting

A short note here as I am debating with myself on how to finish my Jupiter painting and waiting for my old buddy to get back with me after the kids' rollerskating party is over with...

I have been working on and off on this piece since the big move a year ago. Just need to decide how to tie it off now. I began the piece when I was going through the roughest spell of ending a tragic relationship and starting my life out on my own. Now I am finishing it as I am starting to feel secure in my new surroundings and new life. I have made many emotional paintings in between, but held off on completing this one, since I left working on it for those nights that yoga, meditation and reading wouldn't ease my mind. I think it will be one for show.

I have had requests again for another showing. It has been several years since I have done that. I think it is time to bring together the collections, finish off a few more and get back to my art roots again. I am ready.

I am also ready to be exactly who I began being before I got tied down to something that wasn't really....my cup of tea, so to say. And I know exactly where I want to start that off...Oh! I already have! Thank you to my most adored friend in my life for your inspirations and what you have brought to my life ~ Te amo.

Besides my blogging, painting and my obsessive need for perfection in my career (thank you Fata for pointing that out again to me yesterday) I have been seriously writing. Bringing out the old stories and poems that "he" said were a waste of time. Not a waste of time for me or for all of my old friends that loved to read what I wrote...always begging for more. Well now there are more stories. Thanks to my supervisor for inspiring and urging me to take my extra time and putting my writing skills back to use, other than in the office...I am doing so. Thanks Journey-Fan!

Until my old pal calls back so we can swamp stories from our missing 20 years, yet again...

A good making for an excellent story, I would have to say. Hmmmm...gets more creative juices flowing. Jeanette thinks that would be a best seller. Might be.
