2011 Brings a Little Inner Spark..........

My Song for 2010...Je veux un mauvais romance {retired as of 2011}

Keeping everything in written word removes the human element...

doesn't it?

Without the human element there can't be feelings.

Without feelings you can't get hurt.

But sometimes it is worth the risk...

life is meaningless without a little joy...

no matter what the cost.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes...

Is this true? What do gentlemen really think of us blondes? One gentleman friend recently told me that he believed that blondes are the most intelligent of all women. Why? They know how to play the game: Look and act the role...but behind that tousle of blonde hair is incredible intelligence. Oh, how to woo a blonde!

As the saying goes...gentlemen may prefer blondes, BUT do they respect us? Why do we have to proove ourselves to be intelligent...or business like....or competent of a meaningful thought...or just not ditzy, dumb, sex-kittens???

Oh - Hold on there a minute! I think I need to take this one step further...beyond the hair color. Don't you think, ladies? In the business realm I think that many of us ladies may have fallen into that trap if we don't play the "I eat men for breakfast...I want a penis myself and a tie to go with it" role in the office. Us ladies that are able to go to work with a smile (coffee induced, may it be), are able to work with co-workers and clients with a smile and bubbly disposition, and are able to take the challenges with a smile and pleasant manner...get the "honey", "sweetie", "nice girl" status....

Yes...And one of my all time faves Aretha said it best. R-E-S-P-E-C-T, Find out what it means to me....Doesn't matter the hair color - Just give us ladies a little respect.

But yet again...I stray.

I have to admit that I tried to go back to my hot fire red...but the old blonde in me keeps wooing me back! I have been a redhead, a brunette, purple for a college moment, cherry red for another, and a little black and blue for another. But in the end I always go back. Because gentlemen prefer blondes? No, because I like me best that way. And that counts first and foremost.

And in the end I may be blonde...but in the end I couldn't give a rat's ass if gentlemen do prefer blondes. Why? Because if that was a fact it hasn't helped me in the slightest with them. LOL!
