Busy Day....Can't Sleep Tonight

It is well after midnight.......My brain is overworked for the day.......Getting out of the office today was a good venture. :)

.csv's xml files URL's SSR's oracle to SQL and then SQL to oracle uploads....downloads......data transfers..... corrections..... on the spot meetings FTP's vs. queue logs/auto uploads.....

Made me want to think about other things.....take a break and blog (bitch) about the LHC that is going live again in Feb of this year....

Hey - Interesting theories and discussions on the following links. Long time debates over this since the old days of college on the matters of super colliders and what we are searching for: The Higgs. Should we try to find the God particle and really let loose micro-black holes, dark matter, strange matter....all in the name of research and prooving theories. Is this an area to be touched? Let us get beyond the whole sci-fear/2012 apocalypse myths and look at what is really taking place. Yes, reaching for the unknown and having the ability to do so in our hands is absolutely tantalizing and amazing...BUT is the risk too much?

To think that this is taking place right now and not frontpage material is what is beyond belief. Why is this being taken so lightly? It is a "matter" for concern. What will the outcome be? Of course unknown...that is why we delve farther into it....BUT what is that old saying???

Curiosity killed the cat.

Just a laymen here...surrounded for years by those debating issues such as these only to have these conversations come up again due to the February boost date this year....

What will the LHC have in store for us if the theories of no possible harm are wrong?

IT geek by day to pay the bills (and support my child and my art habit) and want-to-be-all-knowledgeable-on-the-science-front like my friends....
