Got a little shy about my story writing....decided to put this shorty back out here:
A Big Story
She was hesitant to reply to his flirtatious email in away that might scare him away. Aka, too flirty of a response back. How would she respond? How could she say that she would love him to do just that without him running away again?
She wants to be friends. She would love something more...but that is unrealistic...he would never have it. Friends can come with many perks. Right? In this day and age, what does the word "friendship" imply when followed with comments of past sexual desires and acts from him?
Flirting is flirting.
Memories of enticing moments, left her breathless and wanting more. She was afraid to ask. She was afraid to know. She is afraid of him being scared that she will demand more of him then he is able to give - which she never would. Would she? It wouldn't be fair if she did. But she is also afraid of her own pent up desires to be with him again and again and again...She responded back with a teasing, but red stop sign. Only to be hit back with something she did not know how to respond to again...except to be honest.
Sassy and a little silly, but honest.
She thinks she depends on this phantom because of his intelligence, his wisdom, his kindness...kindness that she is just not accustomed to...from a man for whom she cares for...as odd as that might be. It started when she first heard the pain in his voice as he described his feelings; feelings that she was just beginning to face herself. And even though he was in pain himself, he was concerned about hurting her feelings. She just didn't understand that. She had not experienced that selflessness from a man before, let alone many people or one she barely knew. His voice melts her to the point of making her breathless and stutter when she hears him - just like a schoolgirl. The desire he brings out in her makes her heart race and her face flush...The dominant male in him makes her want to surrender and his praise of her makes her succumb to whatever he requests.
She is left on the brink of the unknown. All she knows is that she fell hard. She has made her choice...She has the pick of them, right? If she is the prize, as he has told her, is he willing to accept her prize if she offers. The prize has no strings. Just an unconditional love and friendship. She hopes he is willing. She hopes that he won't run behind that fence again. She is so afraid of being hurt again, herself...but is worth the chance.
Right?
She will see what his return brings.
and so...
